Production Opportunities

Theater Emory

At Theater Emory, students build sets and props and costumes, run lights and sound, and assistant stage manage, all with professional guidance and training.

Qualified students may assist directors, designers, administrators, and dramaturgs who are doing research for productions.

Advanced students may be given opportunities to design, with mentoring from professionals on the faculty.

Student Theater

Students run the whole show for the four student groups. With funding from student government, these companies choose and produce their own seasons. Each show has a full production team -- with professional mentoring from Theater Emory staff. Many Emory graduates who have gone on to careers in design and technical theater developed their talents both at Theater Emory and with student groups.
