Planning Your Application

Internship Planning

General Time-line:

  • Start early! Begin looking least 2-3 months beforehand.

  • Summer internships: start searching in mid-December through May.

  • Fall semester internships: start searching early to mid-July.

  • Spring semester internships: start searching early to mid-November.

Deadlines will depend on the organization and industry.

Some internships accept applications on a rolling basis. The earlier you apply, the better your chances.

How to find internships:

  • Use the links in the left menu to search internships available through Emory, in Atlanta, and in theater.
  • Emory students also have access to Eagle Ops where work-study, part-time, internship and full-time positions are posted. For additional opportunities, you can “JUMP to UCAN” via Eagle Ops, which is an internship database with 1500 plus internships.  We share this internship database with a consortium of universities similar to Emory, so there are many opportunities outside of Atlanta as well.
